No. 18, Channelling, 20 August 2017
Greetings, this is Alcazar, Light Being.
Every day you’re surrounded by the outside world, and in fact, it’s impossible to avoid it. It can be tumultuous at times and the stresses and strains of everyday life can impact on the body, both short-term and long-term.
When you were in your pre-life and you all made the decision to come to earth, to live and to learn as a human, the realities of human life were perhaps less real. Much as you might have picked a life with certain challenges you did so knowing it was for your development. And you did so confidently, knowing that we on the other side would be rallying around and offering support.
Your trust in God on the other side is indefatigable. It is without question. But once you arrive on earth as a human, the veil between this life and your past life (and your true identity, as a spiritual being) becomes more dense.
It can be difficult sometimes to see that life offers much more than the mundane. It can be difficult to see that the very mundane challenges that you face everyday are in fact wonderful opportunities to grow.
You might not think that you want to grow. You might think you want an easy life. You might think “I just want to be happy”.
True happiness can never be derived from the mundane. Not if the mundane is a means to more of the mundane. Not if your 9-5 job or your shift work, which might bore you rigid and doesn’t challenge you to the extent you’re capable of, is simply a means to more money. More money to buy more mundane things. That then puts you in the position of having to carry out the same mundane work over and over again.
It’s very easy for us all to find ourselves in that type of rat race. And this is irregardless of how much money you have, because it is such a typical human trait to believe that if I could only have a bit more, I would be happy. When you look to those millionaires, (or if you’re a millionaire when you look to those billionaires), don’t for one minute think that money has bought them a way out of that trap.
If you are listening to this in e western world, even if you think you are on the breadline, even if you are struggling, there is a very high chance that you are amongst some of the richest in the world.
And I do not say this to make you feel guilty or to make you feel ashamed. But rather to try and get you to understand and to think that more of whatever it is you think you need is not usually the answer. I do not condemn hard work. I do not condemn financial rewards. I do not condemn you enjoying the spoils of your labours. I only say that is not the route to happiness.
The route to happiness is facing your challenges, working on your issues, and opening yourself up to both personal growth. And ultimately, to recognising yourself as the spiritual being that you are.
The spiritual path does not need to be understated separately to a material path. It does not require you to live up in a mountain, removed from everyday concerns. It is tough, it can be tough, and it can be immensely rewarding. When it gets u can ask for help. Pray to your God, who will always listen to you and who will always help you. Perhaps not always in ways that you want or in ways that you recognise.
On behalf of us on the other side, I thank you, all of you, for agreeing to being reincarnated on earth. And I thank you for taking the bold steps, that is those of you who have done, to work in order to progress spiritually.
I leave you feeling deep love in my heart for you all.
This is Alcazar, Light Being.
